Storm Stacey will begin his fourth consecutive Bennetts British Superbike season with Brent Gladwin’s LKQ Euro Car Parts Kawasaki team at Silverstone in April.

Stacey continues her progression through the premier class since transitioning from the National Junior Superstock Pirelli Championship, scoring points in her first Bennetts BSB season in 2020.

Last year, the Eccleshall-based teenager earned a career-best result with a sixth-place finish at Donington Park and, in addition, also got his first front-row start in the second race of the weekend at the penultimate round.

“Obviously I’m thrilled to be back with the Brent team for a fourth season as it’s been a total success so far,” Stacey said.

“We had ups and downs, but mostly ups! I’m looking forward to a great season this year – my expectations are high, but realistic.

“I’m delighted to be in for some good battles and the goal is to be in the top ten consistently – that must be the goal for the 2022 season.

“I want to thank LKQ Euro Car Parts for their continued support, STAUFF, all of our team partners, my personal sponsor Autotech Academy and of course Brent. I’ve been training harder than ever so I can’t wait to get back to racing. race and see all the fans back on the track. Bring it on.”

The team is also extending its title partnership for a third year with LKQ Euro Car Parts, the leading distributor of automotive, LCV and specialist parts in the UK and Republic of Ireland, with over 280 branches, stocking over 100 000 different pieces.

Team owner Gladwin added: “I am extremely pleased and delighted to extend our agreements with Storm and LKQ Euro Car Parts. As Storm enters our fourth season together, and his third in BSB, he will still be only 18; this is unprecedented in Superbike racing.

“I am also proud that we can continue our excellent relationships with our very important current team partners, whilst welcoming new ones. Alan Morris, RS PRO, R&G, Belgrave Motors, DP Services and IKM We also welcome Autotech Group with a Team partnership.

“We have big ambitions for the Superbike team and I look forward to announcing more fantastic news about the STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki very soon.”
