From Kourtney and Manny Khoshbin to Aaron Rodgers: Cars make the best Halloween props
Many celebrities have taken inspiration from famous people this year, and they had to use everything they had at their disposal to make sure their interpretations were the most accurate.
Several A-listers used their cars if their costume required it, or went to great lengths to rent a car to make their costume shine.
One example is Kourtney Kardashian and her fiance Travis Barker. Kardashian comes from a family of big car enthusiasts, and they love to show off their expensive vehicles at every opportunity. As she recently got engaged to Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, the two couldn’t miss the opportunity to have a couple costume. So they channeled the 1993 film True romance, and also had to get a vehicle as precise as possible. The film features a pink Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado from 1974, and the two appear to have found a pink Cadillac De Ville to recreate the whole scene.
In an Instagram Stories photo featured in our gallery, we can see Kourtney’s gigantic spider decoration fitting in perfectly behind a beige Mercedes G-Wagon, with its doors wide open.
But the couple weren’t the only ones using cars for their costumes. Aaron Rodgers, who plays as a quarterback for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL, dressed up as John Wick this Halloween. Rodgers perfected his costume with a vehicle. While this isn’t John Wick’s precious 1969 Mustang, the NFL player poses next to what appears to be a Ford GT to complete the look. He also featured a dog, scoring offensive lineman David Bakhtiari, because how could you be John Wick without a dog? You can see the photo in the attached post.
Dwight Howard also rented a red SUV for the occasion, by tagging the Drive LA Instagram account and writing “Thank you for understanding me this evening.“The NBA star channeled Sho’nuff from The Last Dragon, and wore a wig and everything, captioning all of the footage:”Who is the master ?????? sho nufff.”
Sabrina Greenlee, activist and mother of NFL player DeAndre Hopkins, matched her outfit with a 2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan. She wore a white dress and a masquerade ball mask, tagging Dolphin iL Iusso for providing the luxury vehicle for the evening, and wrote “Thank you for providing exceptional luxury service to cap off the evening ..”
Vanessa Bryant, the widow of Kobe Bryant, disguised as Cruella. Instead of 101 Dalmatians, she only had three, as her daughters also joined in the family celebration. And instead of a Cadillac De Ville, Vanessa Bryant hopped behind the wheel of her Range Rover, but looked as imposing as the role demands.
Although Manny Khoshbin’s interpretation of King Philip II of the film Alexander The Great shouldn’t have vehicles, there was nothing he could do. With such a large collection, it was like a waste to miss an opportunity to showcase one of his rides and pose with a real horse and a white Rolls-Royce Ghost.
Rapper Latto also channeled her inner Faith Evans from the photoshoot she did with Notorious BIG in the back of a convertible Cadillac, and she sat in the backseat of a leather seat. cream in color in a similar convertible.
While that was not part of his costume, as he was wearing a Jason ice hockey mask, Rick Ross couldn’t leave his precious collection out and was paired with a black Rolls-Royce Phantom as well.
This Halloween seemed successful, and many celebrities went above and beyond to recreate some of the most famous outfits, and they had to use every means available to make sure they got it. And some of them have really succeeded, and some of these vehicles have really stolen the show. After everything we’ve seen, why not accessorize with an expensive vehicle? If you have one and can afford it, sure.
